Five steps, and you can leave after the fourth
No account, no software, no fax machine.
Add your document
Upload a PDF, or photograph the pages with your phone. We convert whatever you give us into the black-and-white page a fax network actually carries.
Check the preview
You see the converted pages before you pay — the same file the recipient's machine receives. This is where a shadow across a photo or a cut-off edge shows up, while it still costs nothing to fix.
Enter the fax number
A US fax number, and optionally who it is going to. The name is printed on your record; it does not affect where the fax goes, so check the number against the letter or form you are responding to.
Pay once
$4.99, charged once. Your card is authorized now and charged only when the transmission is confirmed.
Close the page
The send runs without you. Most transmissions finish in a few minutes, busy lines are retried automatically, and the result is emailed either way.
What “transmission confirmed” means
It means the receiving fax system answered and acknowledged the pages we sent, and it means exactly that. It is not confirmation that a person read the document, that the organization routed or accepted it, or that a filing requirement or deadline was satisfied.
We are precise about this because the record is the part of the product you might one day need to rely on, and a record that claims more than the fax network told us would be worth less, not more.
What you get
- An email when the fax is submitted, and another when it settles
- A dated transmission record with the destination, page count, timestamps and the provider's transaction ID
- SHA-256 hashes of both your original file and the exact pages transmitted, so you can tie your copy to the send
- Automatic deletion of the document 24 hours after transmission
What we do not do
We send one fax to one US number, up to 20 pages. We do not receive faxes, rent you a fax number, send internationally, or look up the number for you. If you are not sure where a form goes, the organization that asked for it is the authority — we send wherever you tell us.
