To convert it and transmit it. Destroyed on the retention schedule.

Your email address

To send you the status and the transmission record. Nothing else.

Destination fax number

To send the fax, and it appears on your record.

Your name and the recipient's

Optional. Printed on the record if you supply them.

Payment

Handled by Stripe. We store a transaction reference, never card details.

Basic request data

IP address and browser, briefly, for security and abuse prevention.

We do not ask for a phone number, a postal address, or anything else the transaction does not require.

Three processors, each doing one job:

• —The fax network we use to place the call, which receives the converted pages and the destination number.
• —Stripe, which handles payment and never receives your document.
• —Resend, which delivers your email and receives your address and the contents of the record.

We do not sell your information, we do not share it for advertising, and there are no advertising or analytics trackers on the pages where you upload or pay.

Your document is destroyed 24 hours after the transmission settles, or within 2 hours if you upload and never send. The transmission record is kept, and it contains no document content. The full schedule is in the retention policy.

You can ask us to delete a transmission record by writing to support@faxmydoc.com with the record ID, and you can ask what we hold about a given record. We will respond within 30 days. There is no marketing list to leave, because we do not have one.

This service is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

CWM Digital LLC is based in Austin, Texas, and the service is offered to senders in the United States sending to US fax numbers. Information is processed in the United States.

If this policy changes we will update the review date at the foot of this page. Material changes will not be applied retroactively to documents already uploaded.
